Building a shelter
We had great fun pretending to be shipwrecked pirates. The playground didn't have any branches and palm trees to use for a shelter so we had to use a beach shelter.

Shipwrecked
Today we had to find the best material for our shelters on the island. We decided that we needed a waterproof shelter to keep us dry. When we went looking for materials to build our shelters with we found tissue paper, sticks and plastic bags. We needed to find out which material was waterproof so we carried out and experiment.
Materials
Over the past couple of weeks we have been looking at different materials. We went on a material hunt around the school to see what we could find.
